Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about Zelph's platform, features, and services.

Q. What is Zelph?

Zelph is a multi-tenant marketplace and inventory platform that connects retailers and suppliers through a single system. Retailers can source, sync, and sell products from verified suppliers while keeping control of their own stores, pricing, and fulfilment setup.

Q. How does product sourcing work?

Retailers can browse and subscribe to products directly from connected suppliers inside Zelph. Once subscribed, product data — including titles, images, prices, and inventory — automatically syncs to your store. You decide which products to publish, and Zelph handles the updates in real time.

Q. Can I sell products on consignment or dropship?

Yes. Zelph supports both dropship and consignment models simultaneously. You can list products supplied by partners while keeping full visibility over fulfilment, order status, and payout responsibilities.

Q. How do payments and payouts work with suppliers?

Retailers collect the full customer payment as normal. Zelph then calculates what's owed to each supplier based on orders, commissions, and fees — and bills the retailer separately. Suppliers are paid automatically via Zelph Pay (powered by Stripe Connect) on your agreed schedule.

Q. How are orders fulfilled?

When a customer order includes a supplier product, Zelph automatically routes it to the correct supplier for fulfilment. Tracking updates and shipping confirmations sync back to your store, keeping order statuses aligned across every channel.

Q. What sales channels does Zelph support?

Zelph integrates natively with Shopify, with more platforms (such as Magento and WooCommerce) in development. Multi-store support allows retailers to connect and manage multiple storefronts from one Zelph account.

Q. How do commissions and fees work?

Commissions are set per supplier or product group. Zelph automatically applies the correct rate when billing, ensuring transparent and accurate reconciliation between all parties.

Q. Do I need to change how I take payments?

No — retailers continue to process payments using their existing payment gateway (e.g. Shopify Payments, PayPal, etc.). Zelph operates in the background, handling supplier settlements and reporting without interrupting your checkout flow.
